I — Available interface
USB and Bluetooth keyboard-wedge gages
SVEND accepts numeric readings from digital gages and receivers that present themselves as a standard keyboard or Bluetooth HID device.

II — Input contract

III — Setup
- Configure the device for keyboard or HID output: numeric value, then Enter.
- Confirm the operating-system keyboard layout produces the correct decimal separator and sign.
- Create and issue the Gage R&R plan. SVEND focuses the first unmeasured row.
- Transmit a known reference value and compare the gage display with the browser field.
- Run the study in the issued order and record the pending readings.
No SVEND driver is required. The browser receives the same keystrokes the device would send to a spreadsheet or text field.
Compatibility is not identity. Keyboard mode establishes that a value arrived without identifying the instrument that sent it. Use controlled stations and operator confirmation where traceable device identity is required.
IV — Documented examples
MobileCollect EVO keyboard output is available today. Sylvac Bluetooth HID matches this interface and is documented as interface-compatible with physical validation still pending.
